GENERAL TERMS AND CONDITIONS

These terms apply to all users of the domains feldur.is. The terms and conditions will be valid for all your future transactions with visits to Feldur Verkstæði site. Folder Verkstæði reserves the right to revise these terms and conditions. Users are responsible for keeping themselves updated with such changes.

DISCLAIMER

Folder Verkstæði does not guarantee that all items included in Feldur Verkstædis web shop are in stock at the time of your order. In the event that an item is unavailable, we will contact you shortly by phone or by e-mail. We cannot promise that the content of the site is free of inaccuracies or typographical errors at all times. Neither can we guarantee that all information is up-to-date. Folder Verkstæði may, at any time, amend the content of the site. Although we strive to display the correct texts, images and pricing on the site and webshop, errors may occur. If you have been charged the wrong amount in the web shop, Feldur Verkstæði will give you the option of placing a new order with the correct price or canceling your order. We do, however, reserve the right to cancel any order prior to dispatch should we find that the price is incorrect. In such case we will notify you by email. If we are unable to contact you, your order will be automatically cancelled. Folder Verkstæði cannot be held responsible for any damaged caused from using the site or, for that matter, not being able to use the site. We cannot guarantee problem-free, uninterrupted, and secure access to the site.

SECURITY

Felder Verkstæði use Secure Socket Layers (SSL), the industry standard in transferring information to process your orders. Folder Verkstæðis web shop uses the Thawte (SSL) Certificates, which secures communications by encrypting all data to and from the site. When placing an order, you can immediately check the security validity by clicking the Thawte icon at checkout. For security reasons, we do not store any payment information in our database.

PRIVACY POLICY

All personal information saved at the site will be handled with the most utmost care. The information that we store will not be sold or used for any purposes other than ensuring the best service possible. It will solely be used for informing you about special offers and other marketing opportunities related to the different divisions of Feldur Verkstæði. You have the right to review your information on file at any time. This can be accessed by emailing info@feldur.is. If the data is incomplete or incorrect, you have the right to have the information corrected. All customers paying by card are subject to validation checks. We reserve the right to delay any order if fraud is suspected. Feldur Verkstæði reserves the right not to accept an order or cancel a purchase if there was an error int the price quote or if the product is not available in our stock, without being liable for any damages or costs. For security reasons, we do not store any payment information in our database.

RETURNING YOUR PURCHASE

If you want to by any chance return your newly purchased item, we ask that you contact us by email: info@feldur.is. You will need to give us your purchase order number, date of purchase and reason for wanting to return the product.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION

Items must be returned to us in perfect condition. Cost of returning is to be covered by the purchaser. Make sure all products are exactly as you received them, with tag and seal still attached. You may return the goods by any secure transport. We recommend using air transport. Please note that if you choose to do, the insurance responsibility during transit is put upon you.

EXCHANGE

There is no charge to exchange items for a different size or colour, however all exchanges are based on stock availability. Shipping is to be paid for the replacement item. You may have to pay taxes and duties on this in your country.
To exchange an item, contact us at info@feldur.is. From there we will guide you through the steps needed for the exchange. Please remember to specify the new size or colour

Please note that we are only able to offer size and colour exchanges. If you wish to exchange your item for an alternative style, we suggest that you return it for a refund and purchase the new item separately.

RECEIVING YOUR REFUND

From the date of shipment from our store, the purchaser will have 14 days to request a refund.
Your refund will be credited to the original purchaser’s credit card. In the unlikely event that your item is faulty we will refund all shipping cost regarding the faulty item.

Because Iceland is not in the EU customs duties and sales taxes are non-refundable. We recommend you contact your local customs bureau directly for accurate details as this may vary between countries.
Please note card refunds may take up to 5 business days to complete and the time can vary between card issuers. We suggest you contact your credit card company if you have further questions regarding credit card refunds.

QUALITY GUARANTEE

If items are classified as faulty, were received damaged or have manufacturing fault that occurred within a 24 months time frame after purchase, please contact us at: info@feldur.is

CUSTOMS & DUES

• All prices include taxes
• No additional dues on your product before shipping
• Shipping cost of your choice (see “shipping”) is added to your total cost
• The product might be taxed upon arrival in your home country

We cannot guarantee that colors on the website will be true to life. This depends partly on the color settings of your computer and monitor.

Visa, Eurocard, Mastercard, American Express, Maestro, Visa Electron & JCB (Maestro and Visa Electron: please check with your bank to make sure your card is valid for online purchases). Visa and Mastercard are verified by a secure code. Payment is only debited from your card at time of dispatch.

VIOLATION OF RULES

Feldur Verkstæði reserves the right to seek all solutions available at law and in equity for violations of these Terms and Conditions, including the right to block access to the site. Individuals violating the restriction of password-protected areas of the site may be subject to prosecution.

FORCE MAJEURE

In case of Force Majeure, Feldur Verkstæði obligations will be suspended. The contract between you and Feldur Verkstæði can, in such cases, be partially or fully terminated by yourself or by us. A Force Majeure is in the event of war, civil war, revolution, riot, governmental measures, strike, lockout, blockage, failure of electricity, telephone or internet service, natural disasters or similar events. Under such circumstances, we will attempt to resolve all issues in a timely manner.

GOVERNING LAW

These terms of use are complied in accordance with Icelandic law and the Icelandic courts will have exclusive jurisdiction for any dispute under this agreement. The laws of your country may differ from Iceland and there may be additional legal requirements to use this website. You must comply with all applicable local and international laws and regulations regarding your use of our website.
