SHIPPING AND RETURNS
Delivery
We ship domestically in Iceland in partnership with Pósturinn and Dropp, and internationally in partnership with Pósturinn and DHL. Free home delivery is offered on domestic orders over 15,000 ISK.
Postal deliveries generally take 1–7 business days, most commonly 2–4 business days. Once your order has been dispatched, you can track the shipment through the carrier’s website after receiving a shipping confirmation. Please note that emails regarding shipment status may end up in your spam folder.
You may choose delivery to a nearby parcel locker, post office, or directly to your home. Shipping prices are calculated by the carriers based on location.
Returns
If you wish to return a newly purchased item from our webshop, please contact us via email at info@feldur.is. You will need to provide your order number, order date, and reason for return.
Returned items must be in perfect condition. The cost of return shipping is entirely the responsibility of the customer. Please ensure that the product is returned exactly as received, including tags and all original packaging. You may return the item using any secure shipping provider. For customers located abroad, we recommend using insured shipping.
Please note that if you choose to return an item, the responsibility for insurance during transport lies with you.
Exchanges
There is no additional cost for exchanging an item for a different size or color, unless the replacement item has a different price (please note that some colors may be discounted). All exchanges are subject to current stock availability.
The customer is responsible for the shipping cost of the replacement item and may also be required to pay import duties and VAT if located outside Iceland.
To request an exchange, please contact us at info@feldur.is, and we will guide you through the process. Please specify whether you are requesting a different size or color.
Please note that we can only exchange items for a different size and/or color. If you wish to exchange for a different product, we recommend requesting a refund and placing a new order through the webshop.
Refunds for Online Purchases
IMPORTANT: These terms apply only to purchases made through our webshop, www.feldur.is. Different rules apply to returns and exchanges for items purchased in our physical store at Snorrabraut 56.
From the date the order is dispatched, customers have 14 days to request a refund. According to the Icelandic Consumer Agency (Neytendastofa), consumers have enhanced return rights for online purchases compared to in-store purchases. For further information, please refer to their guidelines.
Refunds will be issued to the original credit card used for the purchase. In the unlikely event that a product is found to be defective, we will also refund the full shipping cost of the defective item, once it has been returned to us and assessed.
As Iceland is not part of the European Union, customs duties and taxes are non-refundable. Customers outside Iceland are advised to contact their local customs authority for detailed information, as regulations vary by country.
Please note that refunds may take up to 7 business days to process, depending on your bank. If you have any questions regarding credit card refunds, we recommend contacting your bank directly.
